Zombie Bruiser

Zombie Bruisers debuted in screenshots in late May 2007, and immediately assumed a position near the top of the "most fearsome demons" list in the entire game. The timing was fortuitous, since we'd just seen their artwork in some old renders on the walls of Flagship Studios, and therefore knew what to call them. They were not very impressive in the renders, since there was no sense of scale. What's nondescript at human size becomes thrilling when it's 10 meters tall.

These guys have not yet been seen in action, just in still poses in screenshots, and even those are pretty damn impressive. It's hard to see how their smashing damage could be less than traumatic, with that huge spiked club they've got for a fist.

Note: They attack by shooting the spiked balls, engaging in melee when they have their spikes (They have to return to them first) and you're in range. They are often huge, quite often as big as the screen and larger. They soak up quite a few hits.
