Winged Imps are flying demons of greater than average intelligence. They carry swords and swoop down in packs, but we don't know if they ever land or just keep circling since they've never yet been seen at a show or in a gameplay movie.

Since these guys have never been seen in action, no one knows if they're ferocious fighters, or airborne comic relief. They look large enough to be fierce, and the fact that they have no faces is sort of creepy, but we'll have to see them in action to really know for sure.

They seem to be related to the various Darkspawn/Imp/Gremlin clans, but it's not clear quite how the various types of demons in those families are connected just yet.
