Attributes are your Character's statistics. They increase the overall strength of your character, and also act as requirements to equip items.

You will gain five points to spend among these four values every time you level up.

Which Attributes Should I Choose?

It depends very much on your class and your play-style. As a general rule, accuracy is of primary use to Hunters as they tend to use ranged weapons a lot, Strength is of primary use to Templars to increase melee damage, and Willpower is of most use to Cabalists as it's needed for spells. Stamina is useful for everyone to help you stay alive!

However, all classes will find they need Willpower to equip high level weapons, and all classes need some degree of strength for equipping armour. It may be wise at higher levels to keep a few points unassigned and in reserve in case you find you need them to equip some fantastic item you find!

Attribute Types

Accuracy

Each additional point added to accuracy increase your Critical Damage Multiplier by 2%. Missile spread for ranged weapons decrease with each point. Note that "to-hit" is not calculated in Hellgate:London.

Strength

Each additional point in strength adds 1% to your melee damage.

Stamina

Each additional point of stamina adds 5 hitpoints to your health.

Willpower

Each additional point to willpower will increase the size of your power pool by 2. Power regeneration rate also increases.

Feed

Whenever you equip an item with an attribute requirement, it uses up that many points from the given attribute's feed. If the total number of feed points would exceed your attribute level, you cannot equip that item.

Some Skills, for example the Blademaster's Matched Blades skill, reduce the feed for a given stat, effectively allowing you to equip more items that require that stat than you otherwise could.
