Quest Tips
Thanks so much for the tips on the Take it Easy. Shoot. quest. I moved them to a Hints & Tips section in the quest article. I thought the quest was straightforward, so I didn't give it a Hints & Tips section. Thank you again for your addition. I completely didn't notice that the Shard Skimmers acted strangely. What class were you playing as? --Cydira 00:18, 16 November 2007 (CET)
- I was playing as a Blademaster. At first I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting quest credit. Then I noticed if I swung fast enough/early enough I'd kill them and get credit, and remembered some of the other Chomper-likes that died/exploded upon hitting me. So I popped back to a station, bought a pair of guns, and was able to succeed. --Mileron
- I guess I didn't notice because I was playing a summoner and my fire guys took care of it for me. (And some luck was involved, too, I guess.) Thanks again. --Cydira 08:18, 16 November 2007 (CET)
Thanks for adding the tips to the quests at the end of Act V. I'm sure they'd be a big help to anyone starting out with HGL. --Cydira 19:37, 6 December 2007 (CET)
Welcome
I see you have started chatting already. I just saw you made a user page, and popped by in to say hi. Hi! :) Pop by my user page or the Community Portal if you need any help! --Leord 12:47, 16 November 2007 (CET)
- BTW, have an important message to all Wikians on my user page :) --Leord 18:39, 30 November 2007 (CET)
Sent you a forum pm. --Leord 16:23, 10 December 2007 (CET)
How was Christmas? :) --Leord 13:13, 9 January 2008 (CET)
Test Pages.
You can create your own test pages as part of your user page. On your page create a link say User:Mileron/Test page 1 for example. If you want, you can also explain what you are testing for. Then save your page and click the link. A new test page is created for you to muck about with that doesn't alter your main user page. See User:Dark Matter/Boilerplate Quest Test as an example. Categories
Please use categories on uploaded images. Uncategorized images are hard to manage. Thanx. --GoodWill 17:41, 21 November 2007 (CET)
- Thanks for the tip :) I'll do my best to include categories in forthcoming images. Do you mean simply add a [[Category:Monsters]] at the bottom of the Summary?
I've only been doing this for six days, there's bound to be a learning curve ;) --Mileron 17:58, 21 November 2007 (CET)- every page should be categorised - Special:Categories for a full list. Not Monster, You can choose; Lesser Demon, Demon, Primus, Beast or Necro. If in doubt use the act it appears in and ask GoodWill for help Dark Matter 18:16, 21 November 2007 (CET)
- Also, we use Category:Demons for all demons I think. --Leord 14:13, 22 November 2007 (CET)

NPC Screenshots
I finally got to Finsbury Square, so I added a screenshot of Sufjan and put it on his page. --Cydira 18:26, 28 November 2007 (CET)
- Thanks! I do a St. Pauls-Liverpool-Finsbury shopping run with my Blademaster but since he's broke and scrapless I haven't done it since the Holiday. --Mileron 20:11, 28 November 2007 (CET)
I got one of Oarf. --Cydira 19:33, 6 December 2007 (CET)
- Yay, thanks! I admit it doesn't much look like him, but then I'm used to seeing him in low texture mode ;) --Mileron 19:34, 6 December 2007 (CET)
Monster Screenshots
Inspired by you, I've started trying to grab screenshots when I notice I'm fighting a named monster. If nothing else, it's another view for the images section. Though, I'm sure many of mine won't be usable. It's pretty hard to hit the print screen button when you're trying to frame a nice shot (and not die). I'll wait until you have the pages up, then see what I can add. :) --Cydira 16:46, 2 December 2007 (CET)
- Heh, this is a general problem. One should venture to the Hellgates with a friend who can snapshot the good stuff =) Or perhaps revisit places at high level, so you can take shots without dying =P --Leord 14:10, 3 December 2007 (CET)
