Deleting Redirects
I'll be frank. WTF? Why are you requesting the deletion of redirect pages? Is it not useful to be able to type a unique item's name into the search box and be taken directly to the page with relevant information? Gertlex 09:25, 11 January 2008 (CET)
- i love u too :) . no, i don't think that the redirections i request for deletion could be useful, if fact they are mainly used from the same page when u will be redirect (circular loop), while the point of searching (or clicking) a single item`s name should be to go HIS Single item's page (based on this template ... but they has not yet been done... and considering that they look Ok from the outside (orange link instead of yellow) they wouldn't ever... of course this is a wiki and u can easily redo what i have undone and the opposite... --Crichhhhwwt 10:17, 11 January 2008 (CET)
- Loop redirects are never good. Try-type redirects are good though. Still, having articles with the unique's name redirect somewhere else could be good. I am not 100% attuned to this discussion :) --Leord 13:14, 11 January 2008 (CET)
- If it is insisted that we have individual pages for the items, as well as large listings of items, how about making the individual pages' template more similar to the format used on the listing pages? As it stands now, it's either retype all the info twice (though I see the templates you're doing for Special Attributes, and like them... except for the ~s), or just copy a dozen small sections of text from the item's section on the list page. Finally, the redirects are placeholders serving the function of making it easier to find stuff. I know as a formality, look redirects aren't a great thing, but they're a small problem.
- My request: leave the redirect pages up that exist already. I won't created additional ones. I'll first take a look at seeing if changing the individual uniques' page template can be nicely done (staying in touch with you, on the talk page for that template), and then create the pages myself. - that's not a problem for me, we can keep the actual redirection page, but it's point is that they are only temp; about the template for single item, i'm not sayng that i like it, as u said it's very unconfortable and a bit useless right now but this is what we get... i strongly agree that we should find a better page for single item; about the "~s" i tried to use "-" but u see that having text like "Energy Consumption: -6-7" it's a bit unclear or however not good looking. thx for ur comprehension --Crichhhhwwt 14:33, 12 January 2008 (CET)
- I think that redirects are good (as long as they are not loops), and you should feel free to add em'. If it is possible to reuse information on items, please do that rather than making copies. First of all it creates more work, and also, if something changes, it needs to be corrected in twice the number of locations. --Leord 16:26, 14 January 2008 (CET)
Item list page format thingy
Is the copy paste template that I have on User:Gertlex/Unique still the most up to date one (with the exception of the property name template, which I plan to update that page of mine with if needed)? Or is it the one on your user page? Are there any other differences at the moment between the two? I'd suggest moving it to a separate page, and then including that and the template for individual unique pages on the Policies page. Gertlex 18:55, 11 January 2008 (CET)

Properties
Is this the monster properties btw? Do we have a central page with all the monster properties? If you mean weapon "special Attributes", "Inherent Attributes" and Invisible "Special Attributes", then you have a good list of almost all the possible ones at hellgatedigger.com under "affixes". - right now i think that our priority should focus on Stonehenge, both quests, map, monsters, etc... i also think that could be cool to have a better navbox for place (like displayng the game map and making the zone clickable, somehow, somewhere). I'm mostly focusing in Unique as u can see and we finally have a decent collection of "Property"'s template (yes, they are the weapons suffix, affixes, or how u want to call 'em, and no, we don't have, right now the same for monsters), i could really appreciate a hand to collect and insert unique cos i'm inserting only the one i found by myself. i also think that we should try to attract more people, both user and contributor... --Crichhhhwwt 18:14, 24 January 2008 (CET)
