Exospector

Exospecters are blimp like things seen floating overhead in the murky clouds of The Burn. We would have taken them for machines if not for some mentions in previews, discussing their animal nature. Players are unable to shoot down those visible in most outdoor London areas, but it's certainly a tempting thought.

A series of quests in the middle of Act 3 allow you to take control of a roof-mounted turret to shoot one down.

Even if you can't touch them, exospecters can kill you. The fire in the concept art is obvious, and it's been said in previews that they can rain fire down on ground targets. When they fire you'll see a pentagram on the ground, that's your cue to run as it leaves a fire field in it's wake after the initial shot.
