Hints & Tips
- In the hellrift, there is a monster named Sekworm, which is very hard to kill, but very easy to circumvent. Wasting too much resource to kill him may make Emperor Gulkar battle much harder for your character.
- The objective "Survive!" will not be complete until you kill Emperor Gulkar.
- Killing Emperor Gulkar creates a portal which can be used for recovery.
- Emperor Gulkar will reanimate nearby statues. Some of those statues are of Emperor Gulkar. This can be problematic. Lure him away from them.
- Statues are vulnerable while being reanimated. Destroy them before they manifest.
Dialogue
- Travel to the British Museum
Brandon Lann: Good timing, [Name].
Brandon Lann: We've got everything sorted out.
Brandon Lann: The information gleaned from Fawkes' semi-functional PDA details two pieces of new technology.
Brandon Lann: The first tech, called a Far Sight identifies active Hellrifts.
Brandon Lann: With this we now have a means to detect our enemy's breaches as they happen.
Brandon Lann: The other piece of technology, also somehow related to Rifts, is simply referred to as "The Device."
Brandon Lann: Blueprints to reproduce both techs were provided, but "The Device's" exact purpose eludes us.
Brandon Lann: The next order of business is to find out exactly what "The Device" does with a Rift.
Brandon Lann: Or perhaps it does something to a Rift?
Brandon Lann: We just don't know.
Brandon Lann: Since you've already been to Hell, you'll breach the only active Hellrift we can detect in the British Museum with the Far Sight.
Brandon Lann: You'll then activate the Fawkes Device for good or ill.
Brandon Lann: You wanted a chance to prove yourself, [Name].
Brandon Lann: Well, this is the real deal.
Brandon Lann: Godspeed.
