Tech components are the stackable 1x1 objects you get from disassembling an item. Only Hunter items will yield Tech Components when disassembled.

Tech components come in normal and rare varieties.

Other item pieces obtainable by disassembling are Scrap Materials, Blessed Shards and Runic Fragments.
