I have a couple screenshots of the two I posted. Do we intend to incorporate them into the page? --Mileron 05:46, 27 November 2007 (CET)

I am not the mastermind behind this, so I can't give you an answer, but at the very least, please do articles for the weapons and add screenshots there! :) --Leord 12:03, 27 November 2007 (CET)
If you look at the following link you can see an example of how it is currently being done on another unique weapons page. http://hellgate.incgamers.com/w/index.php/Unique_Mind-Control_Weapons I would assume for consistancy purposes we would want to do the same across all the unique item pages. --PtViper 1:56pm, 27 November 2007 (EST)
Consistency only means that, being consistent. Still, I really like the example layout you gave (but do remember you only have to write "[[Unique Mind-Control Weapons]] to make a wiki link), so I think we should go with pictures all the way! Any objections? --Leord 14:46, 28 November 2007 (CET)
I encourage prolific use of redirects. Are we indeed going to group uniques to pages, and then create bunches of redirects to point at this pages? I think that's a good approach :) Gertlex 15:59, 28 November 2007 (CET)
On a second note... the layout of the Mind-Control weapons page is a genuine PITA. I don't know where the source template of that is, if there is one, but I'd suggest using comments in the code to make it obvious where each section is. Gertlex 16:06, 28 November 2007 (CET)
I did the layout of the Mind-Control weapons page. It was supposed to be a test at first and for this reason the code is very messed but i think that the overall look isn't so bad and with some change i believe it could become a good template for all the unique items, i think we should introduce a color code on the kind of damage (eg. green=toxic, red=fire, etc..) and probably deleting base item's level and name (what is actually (???)(???)(mostly useless)); on the other side, it very intuitive and the pic is a nice addition to all the text... i would also recommend to categorize items based on the class of use (eg Hunter/Templar/cabalist first, one-hand-weapo/two-hand-weapo/(shield)/(other) then) because in the actual one it could be very difficult to find out the right place for some item... Oops I didn't quite say what I meant. Editing the article, and finding what block of code to copy paste for a new item was the PITA. I *like* the look of the table setup though. Adding colors makes for busy-work, at the moment. I don't know too much about categories. (though certainly, there are sub-categories... never looked into how those are implemented) Gertlex 18:42, 28 November 2007 (CET)
You can see if you go to the Unique Pistols article that the (???)(???) from the Unique Mind-Control Weapons should be (base item lvl) (base item name) it was just the ??? by the time I got there to update the stats on those two items. Heh, I'm new to editing wiki's so bear with me xD. I dont know how to use the talk besides editing it and typing in my response and I only just figured out the timestamp thing. Also I think it would be good to have a Unique Item's page that lists the different unique categories and will allow the person to easily find it. Personally I've had a difficult time using the menu on the left and only after searching "unique" do I come up with the pages. Again, I'm not familiar with adding wiki pages, but I can figure out how to modify them if there's a template in place =p --PtViper 02:11, 29 November 2007 (CET)
While this is slightly off topic, I think you are doing great :) I am also happily accepting any suggestions for changes to the left main nav bar from you or anyone else. --Leord 13:52, 29 November 2007 (CET)

I've modified the code slightly for uniques to make the code more modular... i.e it's now very obvious what to copy/paste in order to add a new item. I've put an example on the following page: User:Gertlex/Unique Gertlex 19:12, 29 November 2007 (CET) Added a line for the item quote. Do we actually want to include this? *shrug* Gertlex 21:36, 29 November 2007 (CET)

Note about Max's Molten Metal Projector - the version from the screenshot I uploaded has been nanoed once or twice, so these are not its base statistics --LBlaze 06:06, 11 February 2008 (CET)
