Stalker
From Hellgatewiki.com
Stalkers are small, wiry imps with jagged, razor-edged claws protruding from their oversized forearms and backs. These are used for both assault and defense against their enemies. Stalkers are fast, nimble and extremely deadly, using surprise and elevation to great advantage.Although they are physically the weakest of the beasts, Stalkers attack with abandon. They prefer to spew balls of fire from a distance whenever possible, making their hit-and-run tactics all the more effective.
Caste: Beast
Rank: Lesser Demon
Subtypes: Mangy, Ragged, Night, Spined
Special: Spitting fireball attack. High Damage Flamebreath
Covered with bony spikes, stalkers look like melee brawlers. It's therefore somewhat surprising that they prefer to stand back and spit fireballs. They sometimes rise up on their hind legs to do so, like roosters greeting a sun of their own making. Though they prefer not to melee, they are powerful and dangerous in close quarters. They do not spawn tiny, worm-like stalkers during the battle, though if you played much Diablo II you probably expect them to do so.
Stalkers were the first Hellgate: London monster ever seen in motion, when they came boiling out of a subway car at the beginning of the E3 2005 cinematic. They don't behave anything like that in the actual game.

- Super high quality render of a ravager.
- Early stalker graphics were bizarre. Check out the only four shots of the monsters we called "robo-dog," since that's what they looked like.
