Sniper Rifle

There are 3 subtypes of sniper rifles that are found in early, mid, and late stages of the game. They are, in order: Poseidon Sniper Rifle,F-S Triton SNPR and F-S Loki SNPR.

Another weapon we know only from a couple of screenshots, we're calling this one the sniper rifle for obvious reasons. It looks like a sniper rifle, with the long barrel and the tech mods that fit on top just like gun scopes. Whether it actually functions like a sniper rifle is less likely, and in fact, Flagship has said there won't be any guns of that nature. But that's always subject to change.

Name: Sniper Rifle
Type: Rifle (two-handed)
Max Mod Slots: 3-4 Mod slots, varying kinds.
Damage: Normal? Damage Direct

We thought this weapon had been granted to the Hunter, when the first small images of the third faction showed up online, looking like this. However, once the full shots appeared we could see that he was actually posing with a long-barreled flame thrower, not a sniper rifle. (Which presents problems of its own. As Flux remarked at the time, how do you use a flame thrower with night vision googles?)

Flamethrower aside, there is a screenshot of a hunter with something that looks like a sniper rifle. It's unknown if this is the same weapon, or something new that's only for the Hunter.
