Driven by an arcane power source that taps directly into the spectral plane, the Slicer cuts a path through demons in a very unique way. The projectiles from this weapon accelerate over time, picking up speed as they move and reflect off of physical surfaces. This allows errant shots a second or even third chance to strike their target.

The slicer looks like a slightly-larger version of the Spike Bolter, which led to some, "Why is he holding a pistol in both hands?" confusion early on. There would be no such confusion for anyone using the weapon, rather than studying a screenshot, since the Spike Bolter fires needles that are almost too small to see with the naked eye, while the Slicer shoots pellets that glow purple with spectral energy.

Just how much the shots ricochet off of the target is unknown, and testing is needed with this weapon to give a more accurate appraisal.
