Shield Overload

Shield Overload is an item stat that increases the damage you deal to shield by the said percentage.

Say that target has 100 health and 20 shield, you deal 10 damage and your shield overload total to exactly 100%. Then:

• Your first hit will deal all its damage to shield, thus with overload you deal total of 10 + (10*100%) = 20 damage.
• The target will now have 100 health and 0 shield.

Your second hit will then deal no damage to shield since there is no more shield, and you will deal 10 damage and the target will lose 10 health.

In the case where only a portion of your damage is dealt to shield due to Shield Penetration stat, only the portion that is done to shield will be enhanced by shield overload.
