Scorcher

The Scorcher uses the alchemical elements known as Greek Fire to destroy its target with spectacular effect. Designed as a short-range support weapon, it is commonly used in conjunction with a melee weapon.

A one-handed flamethrower, the Scorcher deals high fire damage over a wide radius, but lacks range. There may be higher level flamethrowers in Hellgate: London, perhaps two-handed models, but if so we've yet to see them in action.

The mods are quite visible in the Scorcher; note that the top and bottom cylinders are different colors in this shot. The mods don't seem to affect the color of the flames, though.

This weapon was originally called the Flamecaster, as early weapon art demonstrates.
