Pre-Order Description

Before the release date, you could purchase a pre-order box at various retailers for $5 or $10 (in the US).

Pre-Order Benefits

Pre-order boxes came with a variety of benefits that could only be obtained through the purchase of one.

Pre-Order Dye-Kit

Each pre-order from participating retailers came with a code, that when applied to an account, created a dye kit for every character created on that account. This dye-kit is locked to the account and cannot be traded or gifted to another player.

Multiple dye-kit codes could be applied to one account, allowing each account to contain all available dye-kits in the region.

Beta Invite

Each pre-order activation code that was used to create an account was invited (in waves) to participate in the Beta for Hellgate: London.

Founder's Subscription Eligibility

Also included with the use of a pre-order code was eligibility for the Founder's subscription offer, that allows the account holder to pay a one-time fee (not including expansion cost) for the on-going content that is planned to be released for Hellgate: London.

Redeemable Cost

When the game came out, you could then bring your card and receipt to the retailer for a discount (of what you paid) on the full game.

Pre-Order Availability

European Availability

Pre-order packages in European countries were not as readily available as in the US, and coverage was not total. Ironically pre-order packages (including the benefits) were not available to be purchased in England (UK), where the city of London is located.
