A bizarre invention that looks more like a mad scientist's portable lab than a weapon. The Plagueblaster has an abundance of ways it can be modified, further lending to its obviously experimental nature. The rapid fire bursts of highly toxic, explosive projectiles make it a deadly experiment indeed.
Name: Plagueblaster
Type: Pistol weapon
Damage Type: Poison (splash)
Max Mod Slots: 4 fuel, 2 relic, 1 tech
Firing Rate: 400 shots per minute
Critical Hit: 5% chance of 2x damage
Game Quote: "Dark devices created by twisted minds, these are. Using the foulness of the demons against them is dangerous business. The Black Death is not something to be trifled with. At least not for some..."

The Plagueblaster is a pistol, but it works almost like a rapid fire poisoned shotgun. It has a very high firing rate but not much range, and its damage is splash, not direct. Basically, the bullets are like paint pellets, which burst upon impact and waft gas into the air. Precise accuracy is impossible with this weapon; it sprays the target and anything else in the immediate vicinity, filling the air with a noxious green cloud. It was one of the earliest weapons in the game.
...the Plague Blaster that moves from enemy to enemy killing everything within close range.

The Plagueblaster is heavily moddable, accepting a record-breaking four fuel mods, plus a tech mod and two relics. The mods are highly visible too; the fuel mods especially as they fit into battery-like clamps above and below the grip.

Like lots of other weapons in Hellgate: London, the Plagueblaster has moving parts to enjoy. The spoke wheels on the front of this weapon spin furiously when it's being fired, and the little gears on the back turn too.
