PRD Description
The Personal Relocation Device is an inventory item used for making a two way portal to the last station you visited. The difference between a Recall portal and a PRD portal is that the latter will let you return to your last position outside the station, while a recall portal only takes you from the danger zone to the station.
PRD Quick Breakdown
Returns the user to the last station visited.
Unlike the Recall ability, the portal remains open for one return trip.
Stack Size: 20
Rate of Use: N/A; one at a time.
Vendor Price: 50 Palladium
Sells for: 15 Palladium
Acquiring PRDs
PRDs can be bought from merchants in all stations for the small price of 50 palladium. They can also drop from the demons you slay, or from broken boxes or crates, or even from opened chests littered throughout the city.
Using A PRD
PRDs can be selected from your inventory and activated using the interface wheel, and also by setting the item as a hotkey in your hotbar.
In the field
When using a PRD a rather long casting animation will play, and a portal will appear nearby. Due to the long animation it is not recommended to use a PRD in the heat of combat as your character will become immobile throughout the casting process.
To enter the portal, simply walk your character over it.
Returning to the Battle
After you have finished re-stocking your inventory, healing, etc. and you want to return to the battlefield you must locate the Station Travel Terminal.
Your PRD portal will be on a slightly raised metal platform located next to the Station Travel Terminal. If this platform is not in sight, look for a yellow spiral type icon on your mini-map and head towards it.
Entering the portal is once more done by having your character walk into it.
PRD Limitations
In some areas throughout the game PRDs will not function. You simply cannot create them in these areas.
