Known Bugs

Following is the most recent list of bugs.

  • The /stuck command does not work if you are a ghost.
  • In SP you can be given the quest to go to Kingsway and the portal will be opened and highlighted green. Upon entering the portal the kingsway level seems to load but the character reappears in Templar Base, with phasing. (don@digi-element.com)
  • In Angel Passage, you can successfully defeat Occulis, go speak to the Sister, complete the entire conversation, return quests are cleared without havig to speak to anyone. If you go to Monument Station and return to Angel Passageway the Boil hat turns into Occulis has reappeared. Not good if you destroyed the cleaner.

Crashes/Hangs

If the game crashes or hangs, enter it here.

  • If the game runs too long, in my case once after about 8 hours of run-time, it may abruptly die from an uncaught "Out of Memory" error. I didn't know this wiki existed when it happened, else there would be more detail in this entry. Not fixed in 0.6.

Functional Problems

Some in game feature/device/item doesn't function properly? Enter it here.

  • Grizzly Rifle does little to no damage.
  • Weapon power meter (laser guns, lightning sword) often does not recharge, sometimes fixed by swapping weapon sets.
  • Characters that get stuck "fall" through the ground and suffer high latency from intense combat may get teleported to the start of the level.
  • Mag's quest for the PDA: after getting the PDA you can't talk to Mag; going to the next station drops the PDA on the floor, then you can go back and talk to Mag.
  • Single Player quests that require you to kill a fixed number of monsters have a problem where kills can go uncounted. This results in the player having to reenter the area multiple times to get more of the target critters to spawn. Each time, there is a chance that kills won't count. Extremely annoying. Seems to happen especially in later levels, despite 0.6 patch.
  • Single Player: while the bases are largely static there is at least one case where an NPC should disappear. The master at Templar Base should be replaced with the guy from Monument Station after the end of Chapter 4. Instead, Monument guy and Templar Base guy (who is dead) are superimposed, making Monument Base guy hard to talk to. Not fixed in 0.6 patch.
  • Single Player: Sometimes player or hostile monsters may randomly be "transported" a few feet or more. Movement seems to be instantaneous. This happens pretty frequently, but only when there is a lot going on. Can make aiming a pain. Not fixed in 0.6. This could also be related to the problem where player ends up back at the beginning of the level despite not being stuck.
  • Single Player: as of 0.6 (and maybe even 0.5) patch you can make a character with a space in the name. Problem is, you can't delete said character, because the invisible text field (described in the next bug) doesn't accept spaces.
  • Single Player: When you try to delete a character, a window pops up which says to enter the characters name into a text field to confirm the intent to delete. The text field is invisible so you have to guess at where it might be. Not fixed by 0.6
  • Can walk through many static objects, in particular alters and other interactive ones.
  • When you start shooting at an enemy before he/she/it is in range, your gun doesn't do any damage. Duh. The problem is that if you then go into range there is a very good chance that your weapon will continue not to do damage. You have to let go of the fire button long enough for any/all weapons to stop firing completely, before damage can be dealt again. - not fixed by 0.6
  • When you enter a passageway and then come out of it, the map of the "parent" location is either completely revealed or completely hidden - not fixed by 0.6.
  • Marksman Overshield Skill does not add as many points to shields as it should based on its description - not fixed by 0.6.

Graphical/Interface Errors

Noticed something that doesn't look quite right? This is the place to enter it.

  • When the Marksman' Ricochet skill activates, the aura stays active until you restart the game instead of deactivating when the skill stops being active.
  • Unused memory things (textures and models from previous areas etc) don't clear very well, can cause delays in textures and meshes in newly loaded areas.
  • The Cabalistic Lens is supposed to twitch rapidly (headache time) when firing in first person mode, but pulse slowly when not being fired. Sometimes it gets stuck in the wrong state. Not fixed in 0.6 patch
