Hit Points
Hit Points, as in many other games, are a measure of how much life your character has remaining; in Hellgate: London, when your characters hit points reach zero, your character dies.
Increasing Base Hit Points
Characters can increase the number of base hit points they have by placing attribute points into stamina, gaining character levels, and by equipping gear that gives +hit points.
Regaining Lost Hit Points
In order to prevent death, players need to regain lost hit points before they reach zero. There are many ways to regain hit points:
- Use a Health Injector.
- Use a skill that recovers lost hit points, such as Prayer of Healing or Drain Life.
- Use a skill / find an item that grants +Health Regeneration (Health Regeneration restores hit points gradually over time).
- Enter a Station (in Single Player, you must speak with a Medic in the Station).
- Earn enough experience to gain a character level.
