Experience
From Hellgatewiki.com
Experience is a measure of your characters' development in Hellgate: London. Experience points are accumulated by killing monsters and completing quests. When a character's experience points reach predetermined numbers, the character will "level up", gaining the following benefits:
- Additional maximum Health.
- Instant full Health pool.
- Instant full of Power pool.
- 1 Skill point.
- 5 Attribute points.
- Ability to wield/wear higher level items.
- Increase in effectiveness of some skills.
- Ability to select higher tier skills.
In Hellgate:London, the characters can level up to 50. FFS may increase this limit at a later time.
The amount of experience gained from killing demons depends on the difference between the demon's level and the character's level. The largest portion is received if both are the same. Experience received decreases until a difference of about 5 levels, at which point no experience can be gained.
