Default/Item-Base Dye Kits

In HGL, players have the ability to make all other armors adapt to the color scheme of any single piece of equiped armor. The game does this automatically, but players can also manually choose which color scheme they want to use by right clicking on an equiped armor piece, then choose the option on the lower-left of the circular UI that appears.

US/EURO Dye Kits

Dye kits are items used to theme your armor in a specific color set. They have their own [wear slot on the paperdoll in the inventory screen. They are not consumed, and can be swapped out for another dye kit or simply removed to return to the armor's default colors.

A code for a dye kit was included in the pre-order package purchased from certain stores.

EA Germany provided a code for the Wasp Dye Kit free by email to the first 5000 people who signed up for their site and either downloaded their community magazine and followed a link in it or who went directly to the link. The Wasp Dye Kit is not restricted to EU servers--it also works on US servers.

The Wasp Dye Kit was also provided for free to anyone who bought the game from the EA Online Store. Unknown if this offer still stands.

The colors for each dye kit will vary in their proportions depending on the character's class. The devs stated that they do what looks best for each type of armor, within the color set.

SEA/Asian Dye Kits

Other types of dye kits such as Kong Fu Bunny were available for pre-orders with IAH Games and pacific asian publishers. However, even though they did not state so in their pre-order page and FAQ, their products are not usable outside of their respective areas.
