Dragonfly Gun

The Dragonfly gun hasn't been featured in a lot of screenshots, but Flux got to play with it during his visit to Flagship Studios in September 2006, and he reports that it works about as expected. It's much like the Locust Hive in that the gun fires out a flock of mecha-insects that swarm over the monsters and deal gradual damage for several seconds. The bugs do not have a great deal of range, and they only last for a few seconds, so the longer they have to fly to reach the target the less time they have to deal damage.

This gun is not especially effect against large monsters, but it might be very useful against swarms of small creatures, since a single squirt of dragonflies would wipe the whole litter out.
