I couldn't find the advice for aspiring artists, but I'll dig around for it. As far as schools are concerned, there are more and more programs being created that specifically address our industry. I've met a couple people associated with the groups at the new USC School for the Interactive Arts, The Guildhall and DigiPen, and they all seemed quite dedicated and passionate about their programs. Do some research and see if any of these schools strikes a chord with you.
