Cinematics
From Hellgatewiki.com
Hellgate: London will include around twenty minutes of cinematic movies that add to the game plot while filling in details about the back story and history of the demonic invasion.
All Hellgate: London cinematics are being produced by Blur Studios. Flagship has said there will be three cinematic movies totaling around twenty minutes of footage,of which we've seen the first six. The E3 2004 and E3 2005 movies are not included in that twenty minutes, but will hopefully be on the Hellgate: London CD as well.
The first Hellgate: London cinematic was action-heavy and exciting, and well-received when it premiered at the E3 gaming show in May of 2005.
"Blur did such an amazing job bringing our world to life last E3, we had to lock them up for the rest of our cinematic sequences. We'll have something all-new for E3 this year, so if you thought the last one was great, wait until you see what coming next!"
--Bill Roper, February 2006

E3 2004
This cinematic was produced in-house, and served only to promote the name of the company. Hellgate:London had not yet been announced. See it in the image gallery.
E3 2005
The debut of Hellgate:London. This action-heavy cinematic features a male and female Templar battling hordes of demons in the tunnels beneath London. Numerous monsters are revealed, including zombies, stalkers, grotesque, and the Pit Boss. Some weapons are shown as well, including the Shockwave pistol, negotiator, katana, spike bolter, and more. See it in the Image Gallery.
E3 2006
The later half of the intro cinematic was shown at E3. This one featured several anonymous Hunters (who were assumed to be Templars at the time), Lyra Darius, and an unnamed female Cabalist escorting Jessica Sumerisle to the (apparent) safety of an abandoned church. Their party is ambushed by demons led by a huge Reaper, and all appear to die except for Jessica.
This movie is entirely contained within the longer full intro, linked to below.
Tokyo Game Show 2006
The full introductory cinematic was premiered. It opens with a convoy of vehicles streaking across London. In one vehicle are Templar commander Lord Sumerisle, his granddaughter Jessica, and Lyra. The convoy is attacked by demons, and after a brief battle the monsters are slain and Lord Sumerisle sends Jessica off with Lyra and a female Cabalist, while he leads his Templars into battle. The second half of the cinematic is what we sat at E3 2006.
E3 2007
A new cinematic was released at E3 in August 2007. It features a mixture of cinematic and gameplay footage, with new narration and an excellent soundtrack. The cinematic footage is primarily taken from previous cinematics, but there are a few new shots mixed in as well, previewing the as of yet unreleased full cinematics from the final game.
More Cinematics
Flagship has said that there are three cinematic movies totaling around twenty minutes, of which only the first has been released. It is presumed that the others will not be released and will only be seen during gameplay, and that they will continue the story of the original demon invasion.
