Bone Demon

Bone demons are rarely-seen monsters, appearing in just a few screenshots and one piece of render artwork. Flux saw them during his play time at Flagship in 2006, and reported that they were melee creatures with slow footspeed and a swiping claw attack. They looked to be newly added to the game, and were very "biology class." More medical than demonic. Their graphics have been much improved since then.

The graphics have been upgraded a bit in the more recent screenshots, as you can see below. They have the death animation you'd expect; breaking into a scattering of bones with a death rattle. Note that the one to the right in the image below has just been killed and is in the middle of its disintegrating death animation.

Note: Depending on it's time. "Blackened Skull" for instance.. they can attack with status ailments and when dead will often explode.
