The Blightcaster is one of the many poison-based weapons in Hellgate: London. It fires explosive shells of poison that deal direct damage, before releasing a vapor cloud of toxin that spreads through the area and poisons other monsters in the vicinity.

Early stats for the Blightcaster listed a very rapid firing rate. That's what's quoted above, though we'll be shocked if the gun hasn't been slowed down a great deal during the development process.
