Blessed shards are the stackable 1x1 objects you get from disassembling an item. Only Templar items will yield Blessed Shards when disassembled.

Blessed shards come in normal and rare varieties.

Other item pieces obtainable by disassembling are Tech Components, Scrap Materials and Runic Fragments.
