In Act III, you work with the people of Temple Station to cure a demonic infection.

Act III Story

Act III begins when Arphaun of Charing Cross Station sends you to speak with Rorke Pherral in Temple Station. Rorke tells you about the infection which manifests as a series of plague-releasing boils and commandeers you to help with the effort to find a cure. He sends you to Aldwych to recover a fresh sample from one of the boils and return it to Ser Sing, Temple Station's most senior resident cabalist. She studies it and realizes she needs a sample from the heart of the plague.

Rorke and Ser Sing send you to Barge House to rendezvous with his troops and kill the Infector. You then go to The Big Gundown and use a building-mounted machine gun/rocket launcher to kill the Exospector. It comes down in Puddle Dock, which is where you have to go to find its exact crash point. You enter the Exospector, find and sample the Exo Heart.

Ser Sing studies the sample and finds a way to cleanse the boils. This is very good, because you need to get to Temple Station, but the way there is blocked by boils. Ser Sing gives you The Cleanser so you can clear the boils from Angel Passage.
